Susan is an oil painter working in a traditional style. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree as a scholarship student at the Memphis College of Art in Tennessee. Returning to the Boston area, she then worked as a photographer, graphic designer and art director for over 30 years.

In addition to her formal training, she has also studied and taken workshops with a number of well known North Shore painters. For the past ten years she has studied oil painting with her friend and mentor, Mark Hayden, a Copley Master from Bradford.

An award winning painter, Susan is a juried artist member of the North Shore Art Association in Gloucester as well as the Rockport Art Association. She is also a member of the Lynnfield Art Guild, the Reading Art Association and The Woburn Guild of Artists.
